How To Build An Audience With YouTube

Category: social mediaTom Shivers

An interview with Tim Schmoyer of Video Creators

If you are trying to build an audience on YouTube, you’ve likely seen Tim Schmoyer’s video creators channel. Tim built his YouTube channel subscribers from 0 to 10,000 in about 12 months and it keeps growing!

Tim has created a video course to teach people the “behind the scenes” goings on that contributed to his explosion of subscribers. The course is designed for anyone who wants to grow their subsribers on YouTube… So, if you were able to get 100,000 subscribers in a year, this course will take you to 500,000. If it took you 3 years to get to 1000 subscribers, this course will take you to 20,000. The principles are true regardless of where you are at now.

Tim shares some of the concepts that he teaches in the course:

  • Relationship building
  • Psychological factors that influence viewers
  • Branding

Tim isn’t the only contributor to the course, a few other very successful video creators share their behind the scenes tactics and strategies that helped them grow. One in particular took 3 years to get to 1000 subscribers, but she started changing some things and 4 months later she was at 50,000.

Tim is certified by YouTube in audience growth. He knows there are people on YouTube who have good messages that need to spread and that people need to hear and he wants to do everything he can to help those messages spread so more lives can be changed and impacted.

“There’s a unique human connection that can be built through YouTube that’s unlike any other social platform or medium.”

Can you see why I like what Tim Schmoyer is doing? Go get his video course at Video Creators.

Full disclosure: I have no affiliation with Tim Schmoyer or Video Creators in any way, except that I really like what he is doing (in case you were wondering).

One of the reasons I always shine away from YouTube is lack of equipment. Can anyone suggest some inexpensive tools for video creation?

    Hi Thea,
Most laptops today come with a decent quality video camera and microphone built-in. That’s what I was using when I interviewed Tim in this video on Google Hangouts.
