4 Ways To Optimize Content For Conversion

Last year a colleague of mine and I put on a SEO Bootcamp where we covered many different topics from beginner level to pro. One of my topics was optimizing content for conversions. Here’s a video snippet of that piece (the audio isn’t great but adequate):

Content that gets a decision:

  • Keyword mapping template
  • Action words and identifiers in title tags
  • Choose the mode of communication by what gets conversions
  • Direct response copywriting

$$ = [desire based tension] + (decision)

    Hey Tom,

    Thanks for writing this! I can’t help but to agree exactly what you have shared here.

    My biggest take is action words. For example, I learned through my experience that having negative words on my ‘sales pages’ doesn’t really provide good conversion. Just one of those crazy stuffs I do during my free time (case study).
