Selecting the right Internet marketing strategy is always a challenge for some people who go on the Internet for the first time. My tip is: If you are starting out for the first time the main thing you should be focusing on is learning and getting knowledge about online marketing.

Really proficient post. Theoretically I could write something like this too, but taking the time and effort to make a good article is a lot of effort...but what can I say....I'm a procrastinater. Good read though.

Very informative article. I've found your site via Bing and I'm really happy about the information you provide in your posts. Btw your blogs layout is really broken on the Chrome browser. Would be cool if you could fix that. Anyhow keep up the great work!

Great post Tom. I had gone through this with my website, when I changed my business from matthaff.com to mindseyewebdesign.net I knew of the troubles that I would face if I didn't do it correctly. The steps that I took were a little harder but I think they definitely paid off.

I bought the new domain name, launched a new website with it, and redirected matthaff.com to mindseyewebdesign.net for about 3-6 months. I also did a permanent redirect on all of the old pages to the new location. After I saw that Google had indexed it and everything was working fine, I launched a new portfolio site at www.matthaff.com and took down the redirect.

Thanks to the steps I took, now both websites are very highly ranked under my target keywords "atlanta web design" and "atlanta website design".

Very good post.

I would just mention though that it is well worth researching your keywords before jumping in otherwise...............

1. You may end up targeting your content at keywords that are never being searched for.

2. You could be using keywords where the competition is so great that you will just be wasting your time.

Thanks
Tom

Google quality score (QS) is one of the most important metrics in AdWords and can be the most difficult to grasp since the big G never reveals the algorithm behind it. Google can 'slap' you with a low quality score without even knowing why.
